A homemaker, she had lived the past six years in Jonesboro, moving from Strawberry. She was a member of the Mount Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oren Cecil and Susie Juilette Parr Saffell; sister, Jean Ballard; and brothers, Dale and Talmadge Saffell.
Survivors include her husband, Bud Glasco of Jonesboro; daughters, Gail Cottingham and Marcie Walters, both of Jonesboro, and Joanne Record of Las Vegas; sister, Madeline Stinnett of Little Rock; grandchildren, Kenny Richey, Tony and Darren Weaver, Jonathan Cottingham, Andrea Burns, Susie Scollan, Christie Tackett and Ashley Verser; great-grandchildren, Brianna Woodward, A.J., Josh and Alexis Weaver, Jaden and Mason Cottingham, Tiffany and Haiden Burns and Adam Verser; and one great-great-grandchild, Kenzlie Woodward.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Harmony Freewill Baptist Church at Saffell with Kenneth Winningham and Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial was in Godwin Cemetery near Saffell under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.
