Onyx M. Bender
Onyx Marie Bender passed away Friday, June 4, 2004.
She was the infant daughter of Sara Marie Carrero and Randall Gene Bender Jr., both of Buckhannon.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Annajean deGraaf Goins and husband, Mike, of Dundee, Ore., Fred Carrero and wife, Ruth, of Buckhannon, Wanda Gibbons Parker and husband, Richard, of Weston, and Randall Gene Bender Sr. and wife, Delores, of Redding, Calif.; her great-grandparents, Alberta Van Weerdhuizen deGraff of Ripon, Calif., Guadalupe Soto Carrero of Bronx, N.Y., Effie Butcher Bender Lewis of French Creek and Wayne Gibbons Sr. of Cleveland, Ohio; her great-great-grandmother, Virginia Turpon of Knoxville, Tenn.; and her aunts and uncles, Kate Carrero Van Vijck and husband, Hans, of Holland, Jonathan Bender of Buckhannon and Aaron Bradford of Buckhannon.
Funeral services were Sunday at the Pleasant Dale United Methodist Church in Selbyville with Pastor William Mooring officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery. Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of the arrangements for Onyx Marie Bender.
