Born in Milton, Ontario, daughter of John Paterson and Elizabeth Blaikley (Scotland). Wife of Ivan Norman Kavelman (married Sept. 7, 1939 in Buffalo, N.Y. Had 5 children, Ken, Carole Anne, Billy, Rosemary and John. (Billy died in infancy). Ken, Rosemary and Billy buried beside their parents. John with wife Donna (Eaton). She loved her family and suffered tremendously with loss of baby and then oldest son at 26 and daughter with kidney failure and dialysis for 16 years. Happy side, she was a wonderful highland dancer and loved to dance with her husband to the big band sound especially "In the Mood". Loved to laugh and go to ceramics with Carole Anne and get flowers too. Loved to tell Carole Anne to come over for tea and secretly have plans to have her strip wallpaper then make her a tea. Loved beyond the grave.
