When we were kids our families spent several weeks each summer up in the Mendocino National Forest at several different camping sites. Usually where our Aunt Myrtie had her camp. Also each year we all would attend the Maxwell Rodeo, where June and I would hold other peoples horses for them and ride if they would let us and get terrific sunburns. We always had a lot of fun together.
