Death of Mrs. E. H. Welch...
Mrs. Elizabeth Welch, wife of E.H. Welch, the well known civil engineer, died at one o'clock this morning. The funeral will take place on Saturday afternoon at 4;30 o'clock, funeral services to be held at the house, No. 17 East Park Street, interment to be made in Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Welch had been an invalid for several years, she is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter as follows: W.H. Welch of Canandagnia, NY; Paul H., of this city and Miss Helen Welch.
Also known as "Lizzie".
Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas and Helena Holcomb Fiedler. She married Edwin Harris Welch on 19 May, 1860.
