Mary "Joyce" Fuller, 71, KY Highway 36 West, Cynthiana, died August 31, 2009 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Pendleton County, May 17, 1938, to the late Elmer Tulley and Nancy Ravenscraft Ishmael. Mrs. Fuller was a seventeen-year employee of Dr. Don Stephens and Shell Food Mart, before retiring from Harrison Deposit Bank. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Ishmael.
She is survived by her husband, Larry K. Fuller; two daughters, Robin (Johnny) Mullins, Paris and Resa (George) Noble, Cynthiana; two sons, Kenny (Sharon) Fuller and Shannon Fuller, both of Cynthiana; two brothers, Samuel (Pam) Ishmael, Lexington and Edward (Wanda) Ishmael, Cynthiana; three sisters, Janet Parsons, Berry, Charlotte (Charles) Angell, Batavia, Ohio and Elaine (Dr. John) Bingham, Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Ware Funeral Home by Sam Harris. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Pallbearers will be Mike Ishmael, Brian Ishmael, Neil Ishmael, Tulley Ishmael, Shane Ishmael and D. J. Dennie.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Don R. Stephens, Dr. Brian T. Mulberry and Dr. William D. Camp.
