Donald Francis Metzger III, 35, of Bremerton, died Oct. 19, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Nov. 24, 1963, in Taipei, Taiwan, to Donald Francis Metzger Jr. and Joanne Mary Metzger. He graduated from high school in Port Hueneme, Calif., in 1981.
Mr. Metzger served in the Navy for nine years aboard the submarines USS Daniel Boone and USS Ohio.
He worked as a program analyst for Envisioneering at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
He married Dywana Morris on April 26, 1998, in Seabeck.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, now of Port Hueneme; a son, Logan of Bremerton; and a brother, Joseph of Paradise, Calif.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Lewis Funeral Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.
