Carl Martin Rienecker was born 1860 in Bernberg, Germany, learning the painting and construction trade in Germany as a youth with his Rienecker family.
Being a non military mind, he left Germany in 1883 and arrived in New York City on the ship "Rhiem". He then travel across Canada on the Canada Cross Country Train and arrived in San Francisco.
He accepted a job with Quandt and Sons Painting, Then meet the daughter Mary Louise Quandt and got married in 1890 in San Francisco.The Rienecker home he rebuilt at 23rd and Chattanuga, San Francisco, went thru the earthquake with very little damage.
He branched out and develped the Rienecker Paint Co. He held several properties at his death and his wife maintained them the rest of her life. He was killed by a taxi accident when it hit him on the streets of San Francisco.
A gentle man who wrote poetry, loved music and his family,
