Eula Whisman Busteed, 79, of Scottsburg, formerly of Versailles, IN, pased away Sunday March 20, 2005 at the University Hospital, Louisville, KY. She was born November 4, 1925 in Osgood, Indiana the daughter of Hiram Lee & Elizabeth Chambers Whisman and they preceeded her in death.
She is also preceeded in death by her husband, Edward Busteed; one daughter Charlotte Busteed; eight brothers; James Whisman, Robert Whisman, Elisha Whisman, Lee Whisman, John Whisman, Charles Whisman, Frank Whisman and Jeff Whisman; six sisters; Frances, Ann, Lula, Alice, Gladys and Emma.
Mrs. Busteed had been a Licensed Practical Nurse at Manderly Health Care Center in Osgood, IN and also at Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles, IN for many years before retiring.
Survivors include; one daughter; Barbara Diane Bryant of Cincinnati, OH; three sons, John Busteed of Versailles, IN, Ron Busteed of Scottsburg, IN, Frances Buchanan of Savannah, GA; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters; Ruth Overton, Grace Sanders and Bertie Campbell.
Services will be at noon Saturday March 27, 2005 at Bovard-Holt-Furst Funeral Home with Rev. Harris Long officiating.
Friends may call from 10 am Saturday until services at at Bovard-Holt-Furst Funeral Home, 319 S. Adams St., Versailles, IN. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana.
The family request memorial contributions be given to Donor's Choice, cards will be available at the funeral home.
