NEW BRIGHTON – Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Collar, 84, of the Thomas Bishop Apartments, died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after an illness. She had been a patient at the Golden Hills Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 23, 1887 in New Brighton to the late Henry and Emma Jagger Miller. She was retired from Rial’s bakery in Cleveland. Mrs. Collar was a member of the Beaver County Senior Citizen’s Association. She is survived by her husband, Carl C. Collar of New Brighton; a son, Carl W. of Beaver Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Norma Jean) Fair of New Brighton, Mrs. Floyd (Ada Louise) Dean of St. Paul Minn., nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Marsh of Beaver Falls. Friends will be received at the J. and J. Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in New Brighton.
