Lillian was born in Sulphur Springs, Tx, August 21,1915. The family moved to Dallas, Tx and she attended Mt Vernon elem school & Woodrow Wilson High School. She met Clifford Ward Wheeler, Sr in 1936. They married in 1938. While Clifford went to serve in World War II, she went to work in the shipyards in Orange, TX, and raise their daughter Dorethea. She moved back to Dallas in 1944 and gave birth to their second child, Clifford, Jr. When her husband came home from the war in 1946, they continued to live in Dallas to raise their children. She gave birth to another son in 1952. They retired and moved to the Diamond W ranch in 1972. She passed away at the ranch on September 10, 2001. Their 3 children are Dorethea (Sugar) Glass, Clifford (Butch) Wheeler, Jr and James Austin Wheeler. All the children currently live in Texas.
