Linda Carol Cummins, 58, of Madison, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

She was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Raymond and Liberty N. Kubick Cummins. She was raised in Union Mills and Westville, and was a 1969 graduate of Westville High School. She lived for several years in Elk Grove near Chicago and moved to Madison in 1996. She worked at Star Quality Awards since 1996 and worked in the J.C. Penney catalog department for 12 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was vice president of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League & Guild, chaired the Board of Evangelism, was secretary of the Church Council and spearheaded the Angel Tree project. She enjoyed taking care of the crafts, gifts and remembrances in the church.

She is survived by one brother, Larry D. Cummins of Madison; one uncle; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church.

Graveside services were at Union Mills Cemetery in LaPorte County.
