Harold Benjamin Cole, Jr., known as "Skip" Cole, age 79 of Flint, Michigan, died on January 19, 2010 at Heritage Manor.


Harold B. Cole was born April 3, 1930 in Flint the son of Harold Benjamin Cole, Sr. and Georgina (McCrindle) Cole. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea. He was married to Barbara Wright and she preceded him in death in 1987. He then married Helen Ritter and she preceded him in death in 2001. He then married . . . .


Mr. Cole worked for Bels Produce Co., and then Michigan Motor Freight from which he retired. He was a member of VFW Chevrolet Post 3087. He was the past commander serving two terms and a member of the Honor Guard. He served on the Michigan State VFW Honor Guard and was a member of the VFW Pool League. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 151 and the Eagles of West Branch.


Surviving were wife . . . ; three daughters, . . . ; four grandchildren, . . . ; sister, . . . bother . . . ; stepchildren, . . . ; seven step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; wife Helen; and grandson Morgan Charles Hamilton.


Funeral services at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek. VFW Memorial Service under the auspices of VFW Post 3087.
