ALGER, April 16 - Ora A. Newland, 48, died at his home one-half mile west of Alger last night of acute heart disease. He was born here and spent his entire life in this vicinity. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday from the M. P. church here. Burial will be in Alger cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Ethel; two sons, Theodore and Harold, of Alger; four daughters, Theora and Delores, Toledo; Evelyn and Alice, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Marion Newland, of Toledo, and three grandchildren.
