John H. Joy, 95, 1401 N. 9th St. died at 12:45 p.m. Friday in Meadows Manor East. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the C&CI Railroad for over 50 years. He was a member of the Railway Signalmen's Association and the Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Greta Caserotti, Whitcomb Heights; three sons, Delbert, Septer and Lester, all of Terre Haute; two sisters, Mrs. May Somers, Dennison, Ill., and Mrs. Bonnie Yeargin, Vermillion, Ill.: eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Cross Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edward Schachterie officiating. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
