James Russell Divelbiss, son of the late Thomas and Ida McGlasson Divelbiss was born at Viola, Arkansas on March 5, 1900. Departed this life in the Baxter General Hospital at Mountain Home on July 24, 1976.
He was united in marriage to Belle Cotter at Vidette, Arkansas in 1921 and to this union five children were born.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of the home, two sons, Glen Divelbiss and Troy Divelbiss, both of Hocomo, one daughter, Mrs. Chloe Myers of Mountain Homes, Arkansas. Three brothers, Ernest Divelbissof Mesa, Arizona, Custer Divelbiss of Phoenix, Arizona, Charles Divelbiss of Muskogee, Oklahoma, three sisters, Mrs. Frances Parkey of Salena, California, Mrs. Cecil Tyler of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Mre. Ethel Doss of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one son T.C. Divelbiss, one daughter, Ruth Dawson, one sister, two grandchildren and his parents.
