Verna Grace Ashby, 64, of North Vernon, died at 5:43 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison with the Rev. Richard Burcham officiating. Calling will be there from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday.
Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society.
Survivors include daughters, Ginger Siebert of Seymour and Cherie (Bryan) Klingler of Columbus; brothers, Stanton (Dorothy) Cain and Edwin Cain, both of Scipio; a sister, Patricia Allen of Florida; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Donald Ashby.
