Mark "Boss" Ahner, 56, of Penn Forest Township, died Tuesday in Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Serfass) Ahner.
He was a foreman for PennDOT in Carbon County for 19 years before retiring.
Born in Weissport, he was a son of the late Russell and Sally (Green) Ahner.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Jim Thorpe.
Survivors: Wife; daughter Pamela, at home; sisters, Jane Smith, Joan, wife of Karl Sheckler, and Arlene, wife of Charles Ahner, and a brother Willard, all of Lehighton.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Edward F. Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Call 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
