Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Eagletown school for Sudie Boone, 74, of Eagletown. Rev. Land officiated.
Mrs. Boone died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday at McCurtain Memorial hospital following an extended illness.
Born August 11, 1886 in Scott county, Arkansas, she had resided in this county for 50 years and was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by three sons, Archie Boone, Duncan; Olen Boone of Fairchild, Ill.; ana Walter Boone, DeQueen; three daughters, Mrs. Tom King, DeQueen; Mrs. Clayton Couch, Duncan, and Mrs. Mammie Ross, Eagletown; one sister, Mrs. Tilda Pate, Broken Bow.
Arrangements and burial in the Eagletown cemetery was under direction of Coffey funeral home.
