RETIRED GROCER LONG IN FAILING HEALTH
Had Lived in Carthage 65 Years - Services Will Be Tomorrow Morning
William Henry Davison 75, retired Carthage grocer, died at 4:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 410 Cedar Street following a long illness.
Mr. Davison had been a resident of Cahrge 65 years and was engaged in the grocery business here 21 years. His wife, Mrs. Carrie Bradley Davison, to whom he was married in Purdy, Missouri died 26 years ago. Mr. Davison was born April 23, 1864 in Buffalo, Missouri. He is survived by a son, Harold Davison of Joplin; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Aldridge of Carthage; three brothers, O. B. Davison of Joplin, E. L. Davison of Bishop, California and C. G. Davison of McCune, Kansas and a sister, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Joplin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Knell service home and burial in Park Cemetery.
