She was born Aug. 24, 1942, to Jack Eddleman and Betty (Bowman) Eddleman at her grandmother's home in Torrington.
Mrs. Cox graduated from Wheatland High School in 1960.
She married her high-school sweetheart, Arnold Cox on Dec. 31, 1961, in Wheatland.
After living in Arkansas and Wheatland they moved to Cheyenne in 1971.
She retired from McCormick Junior High food services after 16 years. Following her retirement from school, she worked with her husband in the brochure distribution service.
Mrs. Cox spent much time volunteering at the Saint Mary's school and church. She was a member of the Cheyenne Bishop's Guild, Cathedral Guild and Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Arnold Cox; three sons, Steven Cox of Bellingham, Wash., David Cox and Kevin Cox, both of Cheyenne; mother, Betty Eddleman of Wheatland; brother, Terry Eddleman of Wheatland; sister, Cathy Evans of Wheatland; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
