William Hershel Smith , 78 years of age, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital in Waycross,Ga. after a long illness.
He was retired from the Ware County Road Department and attended the Telmore Pentecostal Holiness Church and his wife is the late Nancy Arcola King Smith and a son Homer Lee Smith.
Hershel is a native of Marietta,Ga. but moved to Ware County and is the son of the late Homer Killian Smith and Lillie Chance of Marietta,Ga.
Survivors are a son William 'Bill' Horace Smith of Waycross
