A. D. Whipple, one of the oldest and most esteemed residents of Richland township, died at Cullman, Ala., Sunday afternoon of heart failure. He had gone south two months ago in the hope of improving his health, and the news of his death came as a shock to the community. Mr. Whipple leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. A. B. A. D. Whipple of Richland, a former supervisor and prominent resident of this district, died Sunday in Cullman, Ala., of heart failure. The body will arrive in this city Tuesday afternoon.
