Mrs. R. M. Rigdon Sr., 81, formerly of Macon, died early Tuesday in a Savannah hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday in the Isle of Hope Baptist Church in Savannah with burial in Culloden. A native of Crawford County, Mrs. Ridgon was the widow of the Rev. R. M. Rigdon Sr. She was the former Miss Emma Lou Champion and was a member of the Ingleside Baptist Church here before moving to Savannah. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Trentham Jr. of Savannah, Mrs. J. T. McKay of Covington, and Mrs. George F. Lunge of San Leandro, Calif.; one son, Raymond M. Rigdon Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Calvin Mathews of Macon; 10 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
