James Alvin Jensen, 80, passed away December 14, 1998, after a long illness.
He was born August 2, 1918 in Leamington, Utah, the son of Samuel Peter Jensen and Hansena Dorothy Hansen. He married Marie Merrell, May 17, 1941, in Seward, Alaska.He is survived by his wife, and two sons, James Rondo Jensen and Dick A. Jensen, both living in Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Jim's work as a vertebrate paleontologist took him to many of the world collecting dinosaur bones for museums. He became known as DINOSAUR JIM.
Viewing at Berg Mortuary Thursday, 6-8 p.m., 185 East Center, Provo. The funeral will be held Friday, December 18 at 1 p.m. in the Edgemont South Stake Center in Provo, 303 West 3700 North, Provo. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
