James Larry Feagle, age 65 of Archer, FL passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Gainesville, FL. He was born in MacClenny, FL on January 22, 1944 to parents William and Sallie Feagle. Mr. Feagle served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal during the Vietnam War. He started his own trucking company, Feagle Trucking, Inc., and operated it until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and fishing, was an avid Gator Fan, and loved to garden. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. Mr. Feagle is survived by his wife of forty years, Shirley A. Feagle, his four sons Richard L. (Cecile) Feagle of Archer, Darryl K. (Buffy) Feagle of Trenton, Rodney L. (Carey) Feagle of Bronson, and Kevin D. (Nicole) Feagle of Chiefland, his brother Albert Feagle of Archer, sister Fay Hall of Waldo and his fifteen grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Archer, 16870 SW 137th Ave. Archer, FL. Interment with military honors will follow at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Archer. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd. Gainesville, FL 32606.
