CHARLES WILLIAM TAYLOR, 79, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with the Rev. Mark McCalla officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
He was born April 10, 1925, in Huntington, a son of the late Eugene Edgar and Gaynell Ball Taylor.
He was retired from the Cabell County Courthouse and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the 147th AACS on Saipan.
He was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church and an amateur radio operator K8ELS.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Patricia, and David and Debbie; four grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and D.J., Jodi and Scott, Linda and John; six great-grandchildren, Grace, D.J., Beneiah, Raegan, Annaleise and Madelynn; a half-brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Sandy; and a half-sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Paul.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Huntington or Highlawn Presbyterian Church.
