Mary G. Snyder, 85, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Sycamore Manor following an extended illness.

Mary's husband, Glenn E. Snyder, died on May 3, 1982.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish Annunciation Church where she volunteered for many years. She also had many hobbies.

Mary was a bookkeeper for the former Confair Bottling Co. and Northern Central Bank.

Born April 15, 1924 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of James Kenneth and Elizabeth Malloy Long.

Surviving are her children, Glenda J. (Jeff) Kurtz, Glenn A. (Claudia) Snyder, Greg (Cathy) Snyder, Gary V. (Lori) Snyder and Gail M. (John) Vought all of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2009, at the church 702 West Fourth Street, with the Rev. Shane L. Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. No visitation.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions may be made to Sycamore Manor, for the benefits of the Elders, 1445 Sycamore Road, Montoursville, PA 17754 or to the church.
