Born on December 17, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel Siemers.
She had been employed during earlier years as a secretary in the banking industry.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with all of them. She also enjoyed reading in her spare time.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd A.Young.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Linda (George) McGeoch of New Gretna, Bruce (Betsey) Young of Cape May Court House, Sharon (Edward) Ashworth, Diane (Joseph) Kelly of Delran, Beverly Howley of Brooklawn and Scott Young of New Jersey. She is also survived by her sister; Bernadine Hollinger of Philadelphia, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of the Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington. Burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
