My Uncle Bob was very nice to me growing up and gave me great gifts: a camera and a transister radio (aqua colored).are the ones I remember the most. When my parents divorced we no longer talked as he supported his brother, Fred and I didn't agree with him (he and my father never got along otherwise) Since he bragged a lot about himself I found it a surprise that he earned the purple heart during the war. I know he fell out of a bombay door and broke his leg in California. He also married a woman called Virginia and they divorced after only a few years of marriage. He was also in Italy during the war. He liked to act and was in a lot of plays at our church. His mother always called him Robbie
