Chronicle, The (Centralia, WA) - Friday, March 18, 2005

Born 24 June, 1925
Passed Away 14 March, 2005
A lover of everyone, a Mother to many. Pearlie thoroughly enjoyed life, optimistic and prayerful in all circumstance. One of ten amazing children, she grew up in the Riffe/ Morton/Mossyrock logging towns.
Well acquainted with meager means, but wealthy in matters of the heart and soul. As a young girl, Pearlie gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ and stayed the course, never missing the opportunity to make friends. She led many of them to Salvation.
She was a "free style" church pianist, anointed and inspirational.
She loved fishing (once caught a 50 pound Sal-mon), and bowling (won many trophies). She was also an ardent sports fan, rooting for the Mariners and the Sonics in every game. She had three loving children: Caroline Maude Hamilton, Steven James Cicelski and Jane Arlene Plante. Pearlie was ecstatic with the birth of each grandchild & great grand child, forging deep and loving relationships with each one.
On 23 January, 1999 Pearlie married her childhood sweetheart Ivan Belcher. This proved to be a storybook, fairy tale romance, to the delight of friends and family. A book should be written.
Pearl survived a quad-ruple heart bypass surgery in July of 2000. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in May 2001. Her immediate family was in atten-dance as she peacefully went home to Jesus. Tears of sadness and joy flowed from each loved one. Heaven and Earth rejoiced.
The memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 18th at the Mossyrock Assembly of God. Internment will be at Klickitat Cemetery on Mossyrock Road West. A luncheon will be provided at the Assembly of God church, following the internment.
Arrangements under the direction of Brown Mortuary.
