FORMER OGDEN CONSTABLE DIES

Claude Victor Cunningham, 43, died at the family home, 510 Canyon Road, this morning at eleven-thirty o'clock, after a long illness.

He was born in Ogden, July 2, 1891, a son of Thomas W. and Charlotte Rackham Cunningham. He had lived in Ogden all his life and was a member of the L.D.S. church.
Mr. Cunningham served in the city engineering department of Ogden for 12 years and took his father's place as city constable four years ago, serving until the first of the year.

He is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Dora Cunningham, Ogden; his wife, Mrs. Lottie Stratford Cunningham; one son, Thomas Cunningham of Sugar City, Idaho; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Woodruff, Sugar City, Idaho; and Verla Cunningham of Ogden. He is also survived by a step-son, Clyde Hart of Pocatello, Idaho; two step-daughters, Doris and Fern Hart; one brother, Jack Cunningham of Ogden and one sister, Mrs. Ella Pope.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Deseret mortuary.
