Graveside services for Mr. Don L. Berry, Jr. 717 Burris Drive, Yale, were held Monday, April 25, 1988 at 4 p.m. in the New Zion Cemetery with Rev. Warren Lamons, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Yale, officiating.

Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery with the services under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home. The Yale American Legion Post 161 conducted full Military services.

Mr. Berry passed away Friday evening, April 22, 1988 at his residence at the age of 63.

The son of Don L. and Lola (Call) Berry, Don Jr. was born September 27, 1924 in Yale. He moved with his parents and family to the Drumright area as a small child, and was reared and educated in the Drumright Schools.

He was united in marriage to Laura Nadine Roady Lozier on May 20, 1967.

Don had taught in the Yale School System for several years, teaching History, Social Studies and Physiology, retiring in 1986.

Following high school, Don entered the United States Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge as a First Lt.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Nadine Berry of the home; two children, Keith and Cheryl Lozier of Marlow, Ok. and Chris and Angela Raper of Yale; his Mother, Mrs. Lola (Berry) Leroy of Yale; one brother, Jack Berry of Yale, four grandhildren, Brandi, Tiffany and Jack Lozier and Corey Raper; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition his father, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Judith Karman Hospice in Stillwater or forms may be picked up at the Davis Funeral Home, Cushing.
