Marguerite received a Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Detroit in 1962. She taught junior and senior high school in Livonia, MI from 1962-1978. She was the first history department head of Stevenson High School in Livonia. Marguerite loved travel, dancing and music, especially the standards of the Sinatra era. As a teenager, Marguerite interviewed celebrities like Bob Hope and Ray Bolger for her school newspaper. She wanted to be a big band singer, and sang on WXYZ Radio in Detroit. She was proud to be part of the greatest generation, and worked with the War Ordinance under Col. James Cousin in Detroit during WWII. Marguerite patronized many charities, and veteran's and children's organizations remained close to her heart throughout her life. She also had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Marguerite cherished her roles as wife, mother, grandmother and teacher. She regarded her family as her greatest legacy. We thank her for her unconditional love and support.
