Lawrence E. Meadows, Sr., 74, passed away February 23, 2010. He was born September 21, 1935 to R. E. and Ocille Meadows. He is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann (Guy) Strempel; son, Larry (Juanita) Meadows, Jr.; sisters, Ellen (William) Hand, and Nancy (Aubrey) Bussell; 7 grandchildren, Keith Strempel, Travis Strempel, Jon McCrey, A.J. Meadows, Bryan Meadows, Cody Lewis, Stephanie Walker and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 at Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, Texas. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange, Texas with a graveside service.
