Homer Abell
BUHL, Dec. 1 (Special) - Homer Abell, 87, well-known Buhl citizen, passed away at his home in the McCollum addition shortly before noon today. Apparently in perfect health, Mr. Abell performed his morning chores today. He died of a heart attack.
Mr. and Mrs. Abell moved to Buhl in 1919, from Stanberry, Mo. The couple bought a farm, but shortly afterwards moved to their home here, renting the farm. He had been a member of the Masonic lodge for 62 years.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Ann Abell; one son in Stanberry; a daughter Mrs. I. C. McPherson, Buhl, and two grand-children, Mrs. Nora Skinner and Mrs. Ralph Whitby, Oakland, Calif., whom Mr. and Mrs, Abell raised from childhood.
The body lies at the Evans & Johnson funeral home, pending funeral arrangements.
