Bruce Daniel Boone
Age 59, died December 19, 2009 at his home from complications from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on May 25, 2005. Bruce was born February 11, 1955 in Lansing. He graduated from Everett High School in 1968. Bruce was a Deputy with the Ingham County Sheriffs Department, Civil Division, from 1971 to 1984. Thereafter , he continued serving civil process for Boone and Associates, a business his grandfather, Burton Boone established. Bruce enjoyed a lifetime of physical fitness, boxing, flying his ultra light, riding his motorcycle and being surrounded by his pets.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Boone and is survived by his mother, Lois Jean (Alford) Boone of Okemos;His wife, Jill (Eaton) Boone; brother Douglas and Remy (Samaniego) Boone of Buckeye, AZ; Sister Susan (Boone) and Robert Dutcher of Williamston;and many loved nieces, nephews and Cousins.

The funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. at Estes-Leadly Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ingham County Animal Control in memory of Bruce Boone.
