Barbara M. Adams, 65, died peacefully November 24, 2009 at her home in Rutland with family at her side.
She was born on September 21, 1944 in Rutland, VT the daughter Everett and Emily (Hinton) LaFoe.
She married Williams Adams on May 22, 1999 whom predeceased her in 2005.
Barbara was co-owner and operator of Bill's Taxi service in Rutland for many years.
Barbara devoted her life to helping family, friends and anyone in need.
She is survived by six children; Margie Flanders, Harry Withington Jr., Sabrina Forrest, Anthony Hall Jr.,Christina Whitney and Katrina Valley; three brothers; Gerald LaFoe, Robert Hinton, and Everett Disorda;three sisters Trudy Tedford, Arretta Latteaurer and Virginia Gonzalez; nineteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m at the Barnard Funeral Home in Pittsford.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service in Cheney Hill Cemetery in Rutland Town.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland Regional Medical Center, Dialysis Unit, 160 Allen Street Rutland, Vermont 05701.
