Pottery Worker - Dies at Forest
John W. Johnson, 50, died at his home in Forest, Saturday at 4:30 p.m. following a long illness of a complication of ailments. The deceased was born in Howard county and spent his entire life in this county. He was employed at the Standard
Sanitary Pottery, where his fellow workmen knew him better as "Humpy."
Two nicces living in Kokomo are his only survivors. They are Mrs. Susie Rodmen, 208 North Indiana avenue, and Mrs. Hannah Alley, East Vaile Avenue. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Eller's chapel with the Rev. Edwin Gates in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the Eller's mortuary after 5 p.m. Monday.
