Mrs. Mary D. Fain, aged 77 years, died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ferdie Grant, 606 South Locket Street, from diseases incident to old age. There is sickness in the home, and for this reason the funeral services were appointed for 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Calvary Baptist Church, South Plate Street, the Rev. Mr. Farr preaching. The burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Two sons besides the daughter mentioned survive the deceased: J. H. Fain of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Gorton Fain of this city. Two sisters also survive: Mrs. Jennie Brown of Lexington, Kentucky, and Mrs. Fannie Keith of New Albany, Indiana.
