Louise Ellen Dye Mooney, 71, of Red Bank, Tenn. passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, at her home. Louise was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and attended White Oak Baptist Church.

She was a daughter of the late Calvin and Flora Mae Crawford Dye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mooney; and a son, Robby Mooney; sisters, Katherine Ashburn and Shirley Wells.

Survivors include seven daughters, Lisa May, Soddy-Daisy, Leslie Millsap, Terry Sneed and Tina Miller, all of Red Bank, Tonia Beach and Sharon Plottner, both of Hixson, Shirley Sweet, Union, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joel Woods officiating.

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Tommy, Tim, Steve and David Wells, Darrell Mathis, Ray Ashburn Jr. and Rodney Ashburn serving as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caris Health Care.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
