Alfred G. Behnke
Alfred G. Behnke, 72, a retired Calumet County farmer, died Friday at his home in Hilbert.
He was born Feb. 21, 1900 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Joachim and Bertha Voss Behnke. He farmed the Behnke homestead farm with his brother and sister until 1953 when they moved to Hilbert to reside with his brother Otto. Mr. Behnke never married.
Survivors are his sister, Miss Nora Behnke of Hilbert, and four brothers, Otto of Hilbert, Herman of R. 2, Brillion, Arno of Kiel and Walter of New Holstein.
