Charles died aged 35 years, married, a resident of 2215 N. Camac Street, 28th Ward of Philadelphia.
From the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia, PA, 2 Jan. 1899:
"ABBOTT - On December 30, 1898, John C., son of Madaline W. and the late Abraham I. Abbott. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, on Tuesday morning, January 3, at 11 o'clock, at the residence of his mother, 2215 North Camac street. Interment private."
