John was the son of Abraham I. Abbott and Madeline Cain. He was the twin brother of Charles P. Abbott.

Charles died aged 35 years, married, a resident of 2215 N. Camac Street, 28th Ward of Philadelphia.

The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, on Tuesday morning, January 3, at 11 o'clock, at the residence of his mother, 2215 North Camac street. Interment private."
