Services for James V. Adkisson, 68, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church, 10522 FM 2011, with Bro. Danny Warbington and Bro. Matt Korzeniewski officiating. Burial will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery. Arrangements are by Welch Funeral Home. Mr. Adkisson died December 6, 2009, in Longview.

Mr. Adkisson was born March 22, 1941, in Hallsville. He was a member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his sisters, Eva Mae Murrell, Cordelia Doss and Nettie Smith; and brothers, L.G. Adkisson and Loyd Adkisson. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at the funeral home.
