Deceased Name: Dale Allen Hedlin
Dale Allen Hedlin, age 62, of San Bruno died Feb. 11, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his sons, Shawn and Brian Hedlin; daughter, Lisa Hedlin; his former wife, Irma; three grandchildren; and his two sisters, Paulette and Delphine. He was the loving son of the late Harold and Marcella Hedlin.
He was born in Wausau, Wisc. and was raised in San Francisco. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of sergeant.
Family and friends are invited to visit noon Tuesday, Feb. 17 and attend the Funeral at 1 p.m. at Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive at El Camino Real in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. The family suggests memorials be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245.
