Arbey D. Adwell, 54, 3830 Fletcher Avenue, died yesterday at Methodist Hospital. Born in Hart County, Ky., he was an Indianapolis resident 23 years. Mr. Arbey was a rack maker at Detroit Diesel Allison Division General Motors Corporation 22 years and retired one year ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Sahara Grotto here and of Little Hope Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star No. 252, all at Cave City, Ky. Friends may call at the Stirling Funeral Home from noon to 10 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bob Hunt Funeral Home, Cave City. Burial will be in Cave City Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Adwell, and two daughters, Mrs. Alicia Falconer of Tahoe, Calif., and Mrs. Kay Newell of Indianapolis.
