JAMES M. LAMMEY, 68, of Southaven, retired Navy chief petty officer and machine operator for Kimberly-Clark, died of cancer Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. He was a Catholic. Mr. Lammey, the husband of Mary Lynch Lammey, also leaves a daughter, Sharon Rhea of Southaven; a son, James Lammey Jr. of Bartlett; three brothers, Eddie Lammey of Senatobia, Miss., Cullen Lammey of Phoenix and L. D. Lammey of Amana, Iowa, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 4/7/1994)
