Caroline Mae Harden was known to all as Callie. Her mother was Emma Harden and her biological father was James Parsons. She grew up in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. Her grandfather was Samuel Harden who was a renown book author and historian. Her grandmother ran a boarding house with the help of her mother and aunts. Callie lived there until her mother moved to Spiceland with husband Wm. Stultz and her Aunt Anna. Callie married Harley David Anderson 23 Dec 1911 in Spiceland, Indiana. She and Harley lived the rest of their lives in the Spiceland area. They attended the Spiceland Methodist Church.
