George P. Parish, 80 years of age, died after a short illness Monday morning at 7 o'clock. He was a member of the Church of God and a resident of Sumter County for his entire life. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Millie Parish, Linden; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Pitts; one son, George A. Parish, Baldwin, N. Y.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie, of Linden, and Joe, of Eden Park; one sister, Mrs. Ada Bradham, of Tampa. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Linden Cemetery, with The Rev. D. A. Statem, of Dade City, and The Rev. C. O. Crews, of Linden, officiating. Kurfiss Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
