A great shock came to this community when it was learned that Mrs. Earl Acton was dead. Mrs. Acton was the loving daughter of Mr. And Mrs. T. A. Proctor. She was married to Earl Acton in 1924, and lived in Detroit, Michigan, but since last summer they made their home in Eubank.
Nannie was a teacher in public schools for three years. She was a Christian girl and loved by all who knew her, but God saw fit to call her into eternity. We weep not for Nannie as one without hope. We know she is in Heaven where tears nor sorrow never comes.
She left to mourn her loss a loving husband, father, mother, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Saunders and Artie Proctor, and one brother, Wallace. They have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.
